Marketing & Brand Guidelines
How to promote Oakscroft products correctly using official brand assets and honest messaging.
Table of Contents
1. Introduction
This guide helps Oakscroft Partner Network affiliates promote Oakscroft products the right way: clearly, honestly, and with official brand assets.
It is a positive playbook for everyday promotion. For hard limits and enforcement language, also read the Prohibited Activities policy and the Affiliate Program Terms.
2. Brand Identity
Protect the Oakscroft look so customers always recognise the official brand.
- Always use official Oakscroft logos provided in the Marketing Kit or other approved assets.
- Do not recreate the logo from scratch or redraw it “from memory”.
- Do not distort logos (skew, warp, 3D stretch, or perspective that changes proportions).
- Do not stretch logos horizontally or vertically to fit a layout.
- Do not recolor logos outside approved colourways.
- Do not remove trademarks, registered marks, or brand notices where they appear on official assets.
3. Marketing Materials
Use only approved materials available inside the Marketing Kit (for approved affiliates) and campaign resources published in the portal.
Typical approved formats include:
- Posters
- Flyers
- Product images
- Videos
- Social media creatives
Do not modify product specifications, claims, or official promotional content in a way that could mislead customers about features, quality, warranty, or availability.
4. Advertising Best Practices
You may promote through legitimate channels such as:
- YouTube
- Personal blog
- Personal website
- Email marketing (only where legally permitted and with proper consent)
We encourage:
- Honest promotion based on real product benefits;
- Professional, respectful communication;
- Clear distinction between your recommendation and official Oakscroft announcements;
- Compliance with each platform’s rules and local advertising law.
Sharing a referral link does not guarantee sales, commissions, or advertising success.
5. Product Information
- Always use official product details from Oakscroft materials or the storefront.
- Never exaggerate features or invent capabilities.
- Never promise features that do not exist.
- Never guarantee delivery times unless Oakscroft has officially published them for that offer.
- Never promise stock that you cannot verify as available on the official store.
6. Pricing
- Communicate current official pricing as shown on the Oakscroft store or official creatives.
- Do not advertise unofficial discounts.
- Do not create fake flash sales or invented offers.
- Do not claim exclusive partner offers unless Oakscroft has officially provided them.
7. Customer Communication
- Be polite and professional in every channel.
- Answer product questions honestly, or say you will check official information.
- Escalate unresolved order, delivery, damage, or refund questions to Oakscroft Support / official customer channels.
- Never argue publicly with customers or shame them online.
Affiliates do not process store refunds or replacements themselves—see the Refund & Replacement Policy.
9. Paid Advertising
If you run paid ads, you are responsible for complying with advertising platform policies (for example Meta, Google, or others you choose to use).
- Do not use deceptive advertisements.
- Do not use misleading headlines or landing claims that the store does not support.
- Do not imitate official Oakscroft advertisements in a way that pretends you are the company.
Paid advertising does not guarantee approval of commissions or faster payouts.
10. Intellectual Property
Oakscroft trademarks, logos, brand assets, product photos, and marketing creatives remain the property of Oakscroft or their respective owners. As an affiliate, you receive permission to use approved assets only for authorised promotional purposes under the programme.
Permission ends if your account is suspended or terminated, or if Oakscroft withdraws specific assets.
11. Good Examples
Sharing official posters from the Marketing Kit
Sharing your referral or campaign link clearly
Posting honest reviews based on real experience
Helping customers find the right product page
Answering product questions with official details
Using Marketing Kit resources without brand edits
12. Poor Examples
Editing official prices on creatives
Fake discounts or invented flash sales
False promises about earnings or stock
Fake testimonials or fabricated reviews
Misleading advertisements or clickbait
Spam messages or unauthorized coupons
13. Consequences
Most guidance issues start with education. Serious or repeated brand misuse can escalate under programme rules.
| Step | What may happen |
|---|---|
| Friendly reminder | Guidance to correct materials or messaging |
| Warning | Formal notice to stop non-compliant promotion |
| Temporary suspension | Limited portal tools while the issue is reviewed |
| Commission impact | Rejection or reversal where applicable under commission rules |
| Permanent termination | For serious or repeated violations of brand or programme policy |
Questions about approved creatives or campaigns can be raised through Support Chat after sign-in or the contacts on the Contact Us page.
